I initially just used Ivan's online-initiated consultation for some advice about my landlord who was abusing their right of entry into my apartment. He was very helpful in spelling out what my options were based on the information I gave him. We are truly honored to write Mr. Cohen a sterling review. My daughter had, just a week before, started graduate school at Cal State Long Beach. Unfortunately, the people she sublet her room from turned out to be unstable and violent. After a frightening incident the police were called and the landlord was told by the police that if they had to return he would be arrested. Our daughter was served with a notice to vacate the next day. It was clear she needed a safe place to live ASAP.

Only eight days elapsed between our first emergency call to Ivan to our daughter signing a new lease and moving into her new, safe, apartment. We appreciate the fact that Ivan stepped in quickly during a three-day holiday, stayed in frequent contact over the holiday, and efficiently steered us such that we could help our daughter find a safe, stable, and comfortable living situation.
